Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an Industrial Data Engineer to help our customers in the US.
Though over 1,000 strong (and growing!), Radix operates like anything but a large company. 

In this role, the candidate would be responsible for:

  • Supporting the implementation of a Process Control Monitoring System
  • Troubleshooting and Optimizing Regulatory PID Control Loops
  • Implementation of an AVEVA PI (formerly OSIsoft PI) Asset Framework System
  • Advanced Process Control (APC) strategy development, implementation, and commissioning
  • Distributed Control System (DCS) configuration and integration with other systems

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in the following or related fields:
    - Chemical Engineering 
    - Mechanical Engineering 
  • Able to travel (< 30%) 
  • At least 4 to 7 years of experience in various Process Control technologies (PLCs, DCSs, APCs, SCADAs, etc.) (Mid-level)
  • Experience with multiple Process Control Technology vendor systems (examples: Honeywell, Foxboro, Emerson/DeltaV, ABB, Siemens)
  • Experience with Control Station Products
  • Experience with AVEVA PI (formerly OSIsoft PI)
  • Fluent in English 

What will set you apart (or at least, what you can expect to learn) 

  • Some on-site experience at pulp and paper manufacturing facility.
  • AVEVA PI accreditation (PI System Infrastructure Specialist / PI System Installation Specialist) 
  • Experience with the following 
    - Data historians (particularly OSIsoft)
    - Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
    - PowerShell automation
